South Coast SLT is an Independent Speech and Language Therapy service providing high quality support to children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs to help them communicate to their potential. We provide effective, evidence based interventions, tailored around each child's individual needs.

We are based on the UK south coast covering Hampshire and surrounding areas, and work with children and young people aged 2-19 years, with:

• Language delays and disorders
• Speech delays and disorders including Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia (DVD)
• Stammering/stuttering in young children
• Social communication and interaction difficulties
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

South Coast SLT is run by Daniel Gibbons, a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. Daniel trained as a Speech and Language Therapist at the University of Reading, and has since completed a Master's degree in Clinical and Health Research at the University of Southampton.

Daniel has previously worked as a manager and Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS, and as a senior therapist for a healthcare and education provider in the private sector. He has over a decade of experience in working with children and young people with communication needs in preschools, schools, community clinics and family homes.

Daniel is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP), is Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered, and is DBS checked to enhanced level.
